I'm wondering because my friend's room mate does this and we're all wondering if it's as cheap as he says or if he's actually a bit clueless on money.
If you are not doing the art yourself, art alone can run $500-$15,000. The paint job, clearcoat, etc can run as well from $500-$50,000. All depends on what you want done.
Car painting is NOT CHEAP. And not an item to change weekly,not even yearly.
Once you paint on a car, you decrease its value greatly. Alter its color from factory and you risk later on not being able to sell it.
