Does anyone know how to change the speedometer lights on a dodge stratus? Is it possible?
I have a 2001 dodge stratus sedan. The lights behind the speedometer and rpm gadges are green. i wanna change them to blue. Anyone know where i could buy the lights for it?
there is no way to get the green off. it is painted onto the gauge face.
You can however replace just the gauge face with one in the after market. I bought faces about 8 years ago for under $30.
its a royal bitch to get the needles off without breaking them, but you can make a tool to do it. Take a flat head screw driver and bend the head at a 30degree angle, then take a dremmel, and saw into the head, so it looks like a V.
its no guarantee that the needles wont break, but its much easier to get them off.
