What are the precautions to take to support my SLR and goals in great shape?
For example, what methods storage use, cleaning methods, and things to avoid? Etc, etc. Thanks!
The most important thing you can do to protect your camera and lens is simply to be careful with them. Store in a well-padded camera bag to protect from moisture and must be together. For best protection, the lenses maintain a good UV filter on the lens. This protects the front element of the lens. There is much cheaper to replace a filter of a scratched lens. To clean blower brush and should do most of the time. If cleaning is necessary soft lens as those used for glass is good. All we want to avoid moisture. Never store the equipment in a wet basement or something. Moisture breeds fungus that can ruin your lenses.
